Level Gauge
Level gauge is a product that provides an economical method of monitoring the level of liquids in closed tanks and process vessels. The level gauge is made of very durable borosilicate glass with a shield that enables safe monitoring of the level of the liquid in the vessel. The product is ideal for storage of chemicals and water treatment processes.
Overview
In order to monitor fluids effectively, engineers make use of various kinds of industrial level gauges that can be used to get clear visibility in terms of liquid volume monitoring inside closed processing vessels.
The core principle involved with a level gauge operation lies in its hydrostatic equilibrium that enables the operator to see the fluctuations in tank volume immediately with the help of a heavy-duty glass window made of borosilicate material.
When it comes to utilities, our common tubular level gauge complete with guard is designed with a heavy-duty C-Channel, isolation needle valves along with a volumetric scale for ensuring safe operation in a plant.
This type of heavy-duty level gauge can also be configured as an ss316 liquid level gauge to provide resistance against corrosion.

Working Principle
Liquid Level Equalization
The Tubular Level Gauge is connected to the process vessel by means of isolation valves. In correlation with the level of the liquid in the process vessel, the level in the gauge increases or decreases.
Process Connection
The process liquid passes to the gauge via inlet and outlet connections. Depending on the nature of application, the gauge may be provided with either side mounted or top mounted connections.
Observation of Liquid Level
The liquid is channeled into the robust borosilicate glass tube, which allows for clear observation of the level of the liquid. To ensure additional protection of the glass tube, it is enclosed in a protective guard.
Measurement of the Liquid Level
The measurement of the level of the liquid is made possible by use of the scale that is calibrated on the tube. This scale can be provided in mm or in customized engineering units.
Isolation and Maintenance
The presence of isolation valves provides the possibility of removal of the gauge for maintenance purposes without draining the whole vessel. A drain valve at the bottom of the gauge also provides additional convenience.

Why Level Gauge
Safe Operation: The level indicator may come equipped with heavy wall borosilicate glass and automatic shut off ball check valve, which will help in isolating the process in case of breaking glass.
Selection Material Based On Fluids: Can be made from SS316, PTFE lined or PP material, the gauge can be chosen depending on water, chemical process liquids and other corrosive fluids.
Reading in Customizable Scale: The level indicator can be fitted with a dual or customized scale, enabling reading in millimetres and also in volume measurements such as liters or tons.
Industrial Applications: Side mounted and bypass mounting systems are available for industrial pressure and temperature conditions.
