Reflex Level Gauge
The Reflex Level Indicator offers a very easy and effective way of indicating the level of liquid inside tanks, vessels, and boilers. The prism glass feature makes a distinct difference between the liquid and the vapor in order to make it easier to read from afar. This device is designed for tough industrial purposes and is applicable at high temperature and pressure levels.
Overview
Based on the theory of light refraction, the level indicator made from high-quality materials is able to offer clear visualization of clean or clear fluids in deep process tanks.
This robust type of glass level indicator features specially molded grooves that make it possible to see gas phases as silver and liquids as black phases.
Designed to work in harsh conditions, this high-pressure level indicator is able to operate without any risk as an industrial level indicator in toxic chemical tanks and a level gauge in boilers.
This custom-made ss316 material level indicator is provided with a complete set of level gauge with isolation valves.
Features
- Designed for high-pressure and high-temperature liquid level indication.
- Single prism glass provides clear liquid level visibility.

Working Principle
Liquid Gets Into the Gauge Chamber
The Reflex Level Gauge is placed on the side wall of a vessel. With the help of isolation valves opened, liquid goes to the gauge chamber and has the same level as the one inside the tank or vessel.
Light Enters the Prism Glass
The ambient light gets into the front part of the gauge and then goes through specially created prism glass which has grooves that are cut in it on its inner surface.
Reflection in the Vapor Zone
Above the level of liquid in the zone, the prism glass is surrounded by vapor or gas. As a result, light is reflected from there, and it looks bright or silver-colored for an observer.
Light Absorption in the Liquid Zone
Below the level of liquid in the zone, the process liquid is in contact with the surface of the prism glass. In this case, light is not reflected but absorbed, and the zone is dark.
Clear Level Visualization
Thus, a clear level visualization is obtained due to the difference in brightness between two zones of the level indicator.

Why Reflex Level Gauge
Level Indication Is Clear and Simple: The Reflex Level Gauge is made up of prism glass that creates a clear difference between the liquid and vapor in order to easily recognize the liquid level even from afar.
Operation Is Safe and Convenient: There are models that have isolation valves to isolate the gauge without disrupting the process in the main pipe when conducting maintenance and/or inspections.
Application in Difficult Conditions: The gauge is available in SS316 chambers that can endure high pressure and high temperatures found in boilers, process vessels, and tanks.
Simple Maintenance: There are models with a drain valve where sediment and process deposits can be easily cleared out through routine maintenance in order to have clear level indication.
