Purge Rotameter
Purge Rotameter is the best for measuring low flow rates accurately in purging, isolation, and sampling. It is built to ensure stable readings even in varying pressures and is portable as well as offers good flow rate indications in vertical pipes. The purge flow meter can be acquired with a DP regulator that ensures stable flow rate through regulating downstream pressure.
Overview
Purge Rotameter is built to measure and control extremely low flows of fluids and gases and provides visual display.
It is equipped with a low flow rotameter along with needle valve assembly which can be used to adjust process flows precisely.
Purge rotameter along with differential pressure regulator is used to compensate for varying pressure in the pipe line and keeps flow rate constant.
This compact purge meter can be used for sampling flow measurement as well as process analyzer applications.

Working Principle
Low Flow Fluid Entry
The Purge Rotameter gets the process fluid from the inlet port. The instrument is made to accurately measure the smallest flow rate of the fluid which may either be liquid or gaseous. It is an effective low flow rotameter complete with a needle valve assembly.
Flow Regulation
In the instrument, there is provision for regulating flow through the needle valve, depending on process needs. The flow regulation can be employed in sample monitoring and analyzer applications.
Movement of Float and Measurement
The regulated flow moves up inside a conical tube to move the float. When the flow of the liquid creates the same amount of upward force as the gravitational pull, the float stabilizes at the point representing the actual flow rate.
Pressure Difference
If provided with a purge rotameter with DP regulator, the regulator ensures a constant differential pressure across the needle valve.

Why Purge Rotameter
Keep Flow Rate Constant with Changes in Pressure: By using a DP regulator with our purge rotameter, one will be able to keep a steady flow rate due to the changes in pressure that may occur either upstream or downstream.
Continuous Monitoring of Sample Flow Rate: This purge rotameter is made for analyzers; therefore, it monitors sample flow continuously for constant process operations.
Control of Small Flow Rates: By using a low flow rotameter with a needle valve assembly, it becomes possible to adjust flow rate precisely.
Compact Installation of Rotameter: This is possible by using a purge rotameter with a rear connection.
