
Double window Sight Glass
Double Window Sight Glass allows for direct observation of the flow of liquid and gases within industrial pipelines. It consists of toughened borosilicate glass placed in between two process flanges to allow for clear viewing of the flow of the medium in both directions. This enables the operator to conduct observations regarding the process and the flow of the medium without interfering with the flow process.
Overview
Double Window Sight Glass can be fitted to the process lines for viewing the liquid flow from both sides of the glass.
The design of the glass is based on the use of borosilicate double window sight glass, which gives the ability to watch the process flow while ensuring safe operation at the same time.
The glass is used as a visual flow indicator and can be used for monitoring of liquid circulation in systems like cooling water pipeline.
A flanged double window sight flow indicator can be used for chemical process lines.

Working Principle
Direct Inline Flow Entry
The Double Window Sight Glass is positioned directly onto the pipeline so that the process fluid flows through the middle of the viewing chamber. This makes it possible for the operators to monitor the flowing fluid without disturbing the regular process flow.
Dual Window Viewing
The fluid is visible by means of two oppositely located viewing windows that consist of borosilicate glass to make it possible to observe both liquids and gases from two positions.
Flow Movement Indicator
In case the application requires confirming the flow, there is an optional flow indicator that can be placed inside the instrument. The flow will cause the rotation of the indicator.
Process Flow Monitoring
By means of a transparent viewing chamber the operators have the possibility to monitor the fluid flow, air bubbles presence, liquid color change, as well as flow disruptions in the pipeline.
Secured by Flanges Construction
The construction based on flanges with sealing elements secures the viewing chamber to the pipeline while functioning at industrial conditions.
