Basket Strainer
The high capacity basket strainer ensures maximum protection to your downstream equipment by capturing significant amounts of solids and debris. Designed especially for high-flow liquid pipelines, this high-flow liquid basket strainer ensures that pressure drops are minimized while providing the highest dirt-holding capacity. The strainer provides total protection to your pumps, valves, and flow meters through its convenient, easy-access basket maintenance.
Overview
Basket strainers are used to separate suspended solids and contaminants from process pipelines in order to protect the downstream equipment.
Its unique feature lies in a high capacity basket filter element, which gives efficient filtration without creating much pressure loss in the pipeline.
Simplex or Duplex designs of basket strainer are provided which provide ease of cleaning and continuous operation.
This industrial strainer can be used to protect various process equipment like pumps, flow meters, valves, heat exchanger, and many more.

Working Principle
Low-Turbulence Process Fluid Entering
The Basket Strainer takes in the process fluid through the inlet connection and directs it to the larger filtration chamber. The design of the larger housing ensures that the fluid flows easily and maintains low turbulence.
Fluid Filtering
Process fluid enters the SS316 mesh basket strainer and filters through the mesh. The filter mesh prevents any contamination from entering into the pipeline.
Debris Collecting
Debris will accumulate in the basket and the fluid will continue passing through the mesh and moving into the outer chamber thus avoiding damage to other mechanical devices like flow meters.
Filtered Process Fluid Outlets
Filtered process fluid passes through the outlet connection into the pipeline.
Maintenance
The accumulated debris is cleaned using the basket strainer that is removable for cleaning through the cover assembly. Simplex Basket Strainers with bolted covers allow easy servicing while the duplex type enables continued process fluid flow during cleaning.

Why Basket Strainer
Pump Suction Line Protection: Our basket strainer on the pump suction line filters out large quantities of debris before reaching the pumps, improving the equipment protection.
Flow Meter Protection: It is specifically designed to be a flow meter protection pipe strainer and stops any solid particles from getting to the sensitive measuring devices.
Cleaning Intervals Increased: The stainless steel 316 mesh basket strainer element ensures a big filtration surface for larger quantities of contaminants, decreasing cleaning intervals.
Industrial Filtration Solution: Our chemical process line basket strainer is built for heavy industrial purposes and can filter out particles effectively.
